Privacy Policy

Effective October 16, 2026

Tesla Group Inc ("we", "us") is a motor carrier based in Chicago, Illinois (USDOT 3124313, MC 089680). This policy explains what we collect when you apply to drive for us, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

How we use it

We use your information only to process your application and, if you're hired, to keep your driver qualification file as federal law requires (49 CFR Parts 40, 382 and 391). That includes ordering your driving records and PSP report, asking previous employers for your safety history, scheduling your drug test, querying the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse, and contacting you about your application.

Who we share it with

We share information only as needed to complete these steps:

We do not sell your information.

Text messages

If you check the box on the application, we'll send text messages about your application, such as status updates and reminders. You'll get up to 1 message a day. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving messages, or HELP for help. You don't have to agree to texts to apply.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

How we protect it

Your application is sent over an encrypted connection. Your Social Security number, application details and uploaded photos are stored encrypted. Only our safety team can sign in to view them, using a password and a second sign-in code, and every view is logged.

How long we keep it

If you're hired, we keep your driver qualification file for as long as you drive for us and for 3 years after, and drug and alcohol records for the periods federal rules require. If you're not hired, we keep your application for at least 1 year, as federal employment rules require. After that we delete it securely.

Your rights

You can ask to see the safety history information your previous employers send us, have errors corrected, and attach a rebuttal statement (49 CFR 391.23). If we take adverse action based on a consumer report, we'll give you a copy of the report and a summary of your rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. To ask about your information, contact us below.
